Ahlstrom-Munksjö launches FibRoc® Flooring, its complete offering of high performance solutions for flooring applications

FINLAND (News release) -- Ahlstrom-Munksjö is a leading, global manufacture of high performance fibre based solutions, supplying products to the flooring industry for over 40 years. Following the launch of FibRoc®, communicating the identity and positioning of the new product platform, Ahlstrom-Munksjö is pleased to announce the launch of the FibRoc® Flooring product portfolio.

The new portfolio consists of a wide range of high performance fibre-based solutions for heavy duty, cushion vinyl and luxury vinyl flooring, as well as solutions for carpets and carpet tiles. The portfolio is bringing together a wide range of high performance products for flooring applications, making it easier for business partners to recognize and understand the product benefits.

"Our high performance products exhibit exceptional dimensional stability and strength," says Pekka Helynranta, Vice President, Glass Fiber Tissue. "Delivering stability and strength to the final flooring product, as well as enabling optimized manufacturing," he adds. "Our extensive and sustainable product range also offers options for formaldehyde free and biodegradable binder solutions," adds Pierre Mary, Vice President, Nonwovens. "Our unique manufacturing and technological platform enables flexible development and customized solutions for customers," Pierre and Pekka conclude.

Security of supply is delivered through the main FibRoc® manufacturing platforms of Karhula (Finland), Tver (Russia) and Brignoud (France). These three plants are fully certified for quality (ISO 9001), safety (OHSAS 18001), and environmental (ISO 14001) standards.

Further product portfolios from the FibRoc® platform will be rolled out during 2021.
