BENNINGTON, N.H. (From news reports) -- A New Hampshire paper mill celebrating its 200th anniversary is going to hold a gathering for more than 400 current and former employees and their families.

Monadnock Paper Mills, founded in 1819 in Bennington, says it is the oldest continuously operating paper mill in the country.
Richard Verney, the company's chairman and CEO, said disruptive innovation has allowed Monadnock to thrive in a tough paper market. He cited Monadnock's line of plastic replacement products and paper made of shredded coffee bean bags reclaimed from roasters.

The gathering is going to be Saturday (5 Oct) at the mill.
