Print

DALLAS (From news reports) -- Kimberly-Clark said this week that it's stepping up its efforts to "drive growth" by creating a new position of chief growth officer. The Irving-based maker of Kleenex, Kotex and Huggies named Alison Lewis, chief marketing officer of Johnson & Johnson, to the job.

Lewis has extensive experience with some of the biggest consumer brands in the world. She was chief marketing officer at Coca-Cola Co. before she went to Johnson & Johnson. Earlier, she held several brand management positions at Kraft Foods.
Lewis starts the new job in late July and will report to CEO Mike Hsu. She will be responsible for leading global marketing, building up the company's marketing capabilities and leading the research and engineering team to create innovations, the company said.
Lewis has been chief marketing officer at Johnson & Johnson since 2013 and brings "a wealth of brand experience to this new position," Hsu said in a statement.

"This appointment demonstrates our commitment to drive growth and excellence in the way we invent, market and sell our products across the world," Hsu said.
