Worker killed in accident at Twin Rivers mill in Pine Bluff, Arkansas

Pine Bluff, Arkansas (News release) - Twin Rivers Paper Company issued the following statement Tuesday, January 19, 2021 regarding the loss of a team member Wednesday evening, January 13, 2021, in an accident at the company's paper mill in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The incident is currently under investigation by the relevant authorities.

"We are devastated by the loss of our colleague and friend from this tragic accident," said Tony Mollica, CEO of Twin Rivers Paper. "The Twin Rivers family is a strong, close-knit team across all of our locations, and our hearts and prayers are with his family and co-workers in Pine Bluff. We will do all we can to support them through this tragic loss and respectfully ask that their privacy be respected during this most difficult moment."

Twin is focused on providing its team members with all necessary counseling and is cooperating fully with the investigation."
