Weinig takes over grinding machine portfolio from Stähle-Hess
Comment Print

Weinig is taking over the grinding machine program from Stähle-Hess GmbH in Reutlingen, Germany.

After the technical integration phase, which will begin in the next few weeks, the Rotofinish, Gloria and Saturn machines will be produced in the Weinig Group from 2025 and offered under the Weinig brand name. Rotofinish, Gloria and Saturn machines are now in use in many countries in Europe and beyond.

The agreement between the two companies does not constitute a takeover in the classic sense. Weinig acquires the design drawings and the technical know-how for building the grinding machines from Stähle-Hess as well as the marketing rights. Warranties and service obligations for machines delivered remain with Stähle-Hess GmbH.

Stähle-Hess GmbH is a manufacturer of sanding machines for solid wood processing such as window scantlings, strips, parquet, etc.

Since 1947, Weinig has specialized in the development and production of woodworking machinery and equipment for the solid wood processing industry and workshop businesses.
