Voith Paper to Provide Giant DIP Line To Guangzhou Paper, China
Print
Heidenheim, Germany, 27 October 2006 -- At the beginning of October 2006 Guangzhou Paper placed an order with Voith Paper Fiber Systems for one of world's largest deinking plants.

The plant will have a finished stock capacity of 1360 tons/24 hours and is designed for improved newsprint. This is Voith Paper's second order from Guangzhou Paper within a short period. It supplied a 650 tons/24 hours deinking plant, which went on stream in April 2006. The plant provides stock for newsprint from 100% recovered paper.

For the new stock preparation, Voith's delivery will include prescreening, the cleaner plant, a two-stage flotation, fine screening including C-bar screen baskets, disc filters and screw presses, as well as the disperger plants. The supply package also covers the complete additive preparation and stock preparation field instruments.

As with the previous plant, Voith is responsible for basic engineering of the complete plant, control engineering including logic diagramming, and supervision of erection and start-up.

All Voith machines will be supplied complete with control and instrumentation field equipment.

The scope of this supply underscores Guangzhou Paper's firm confidence in Voith deinking technology.

Voith Paper is a division of the Voith Group and one of the leading partners to the paper industry. Founded on 1 January 1867, Voith has approximately 30,000 employees, a turnover of EURO 3.5 billion, and over 200 locations world-wide.
