Voith Paper Rolls Breaks Ground for New Service Center in China

Heidenheim, Germany 21 May 2008 -- On 18 April, Voith Paper Rolls broke ground for its new rolls service center in Nansha, Guangzhou. It will open in March 2009 and provide high quality roll covers and roll service for all roll dimensions. The new service center is strategically located in Nansha, with good logistic access to the fast developing southern Chinese paper industry.

The new service center initially will offer a full range of rubber roll covers, mechanical roll service, and roll cover regrinding. It will expand into the roll covers manufacturing area for polyurethane and composite roll covers in a second phase.

In May 2003, Voith Paper Rolls started to serve the Chinese and Asia/Pacific paper industry with high-end roll covers, mechanical roll services, and roll cover regrinding out of its service facilities in Kunshan and Dongying.
