The Final Word by Jim Thompson

In case you have not been paying attention, the Rio Tinto case in China is very troubling. Four executives from the Anglo-Australian mining company have been convicted of accepting bribes and stealing commercial secrets. All of this was related to selling iron ore to Chinese steel manufacturers. We are certainly not in favor of bribes or stealing, but it is the sentencing here that is troubling: up to 14 years in Chinese prisons. May make you want to pause if you are thinking of doing business in China.
