We are well into the first quarter of 2009, and I continue to hold out reasoned hope that the second half of the year will see an improvement in the overall economy. However, some sectors, including our own, are in a major upheaval that might not abate for some time. Although this does not make anyone feel better, it is a normal condition as technology advances.
