Smurfit Kappa UK & Ireland is investing in high quality print and conversion equipment in Tannochside, Scotland.

Pregis, a leading manufacturer of protective packaging, is announcing a new 300,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Bethel, Pennsylvania. The plant will be producing lightweight, recyclable all-paper cushioned mailers to support demand in the Northeastern region of North America.

A major construction project at the Louisiana Pacific Houlton mill in New Limerick will begin this summer. $150 million dollars is being invested in the project that will convert the mill to manufacture LP's Flagship product.

Packaging Corporation of America announced that it has discontinued production of uncoated freesheet (UFS) grades on the No. 3 paper machine at its Jackson, AL mill and will begin preparing for the permanent conversion of the machine to linerboard.
