Saica Group acquires minority share of two corrugated board plants in Italy

ITALY (News release) -- Saica Group has reached an agreement with the family owners and has acquired a minority share of their corrugated plants in Annone di Brianza and Pietrasanta, Italy. These two plants have a revenue of Euro 105 million in 2022, and provide direct employment to 247 people.

One of Saica's 2025 strategic priorities is focused on sustainable growth, developing our business model across Europe.

ADDA Ondulati S.p.A. is a family-owned company founded by the Taschetti family in 1949. For more than 75 years, it has been producing corrugated cardboard packaging at its Annone di Brianza (LC) site, which currently employs 162 people, reaching in 2022 more than 100 million square meters of corrugated cardboard produced and a turnover of Euro 65 million.

Cartorobica S.p.A. is a family-owned Company founded by the Taschetti Family in 1972. For more than 50 years it has been producing corrugated cardboard packaging at its Calcinate (BG) site, which currently employs 85 people, reaching an output of more than 55 million square meters of corrugated cardboard and a turnover of Euro 40 million in 2022.

Saica Group is one of the leading companies in Europe in the manufacture of recycled paper for corrugated board, with an annual production capacity of 3.3 million tons of recycled paper for corrugated board.
