Vida's CEO Måns Johansson has been appointed President of Canfor Europe. Måns has been Vida's CEO since 2019 and before that sales manager for the group. Now he will assume the role of President of Canfor Europe while remaining as CEO of Vida.

Hood Container Corporation has acquired the corrugated packaging business of Dalton, Georgia based Sustainable Printing LLC. The transaction includes all printing, converting, and ancillary equipment located in Dalton. Hood will continue operating these assets in the current facility.

Government is not helping

International technology group Andritz has received an order from Stora Enso to optimize the fiberline at the Enocell pulp mill in Uimaharju, Finland.
