Pöyry to Provide Engineering Services for Norske Skog's Follum Mill

Helsinki, Finland, 28 August 2006 -- Pöyry's Forest Industry business group has been assigned by Norske Skogindustrier ASA, Norway, to provide engineering services for the relocation project of the Union TMP plant to the Follum mill. In addition, the contract includes modification of the effluent treatment plant at Follum. The value of the project engineering and services contract is about EUR 2 million.

Pöyry's contract includes engineering management, civil and detail engineering services, and time scheduling and procurement services. Norske Skog is investing about NOK 260 million in the TMP relocation and effluent treatment plant project to be able to further develop the paper production at Follum. The start-up of the relocated TMP plant is scheduled for December 2007.

This assignment is a further continuation of the cooperation between Norske Skog and Pöyry, dating back more than 20 years. Pöyry has served Norske Skog in their paper mill projects worldwide.
