Richmond, Virginia, USA, 03 January 2011 -- MeadWestvaco Corporation (NYSE: MWV) will release its fourth quarter and full-year 2010 results on 26 January 2011, before the market opens. The news release for the results will be available on MWV’s Web site at www.mwv.com.

The company will host its fourth quarter and 2010 results conference call on 26 January 2011, at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern Time) with access available via Internet and telephone. The event is scheduled for one hour. John A. Luke, Jr., chairman and chief executive officer; James A. Buzzard, president; E. Mark Rajkowski, chief financial officer; and Jason Thompson, director, investor relations, will review the results. Following the review, questions will be taken from registered analysts and investors.
