Kruger Inc. Coated Paper Reductions Announced
Print
Montréal, Québec, Canada, 12 November 2008 – Kruger Inc. announced today that it has reduced coated paper production at its two Trois-Rivières mills by a total of 50,000 metric tons in 2008. This reduction, which represents about 12% of the company’s annual coated paper production, was necessary due to difficult market conditions.

Founded in 1904, Kruger Inc. is a major producer of publication papers, tissue, lumber and other wood products, corrugated cartons from recycled fibers, green and renewable energy, and wines and spirits. The company is also a leader in paper and paperboard recycling in North America. Kruger operates facilities in Canada (Alberta, British Columbia, Labrador, Newfoundland, Ontario, and Quebec), in the United States, and the United Kingdom, and has 9000 employees.
