Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, 30 April 2008 -- International Forest Products Limited (Interfor) (TSX: IFP.A) announced today that it has concluded its previously announced transaction with Pope & Talbot, Inc. (P&T) to acquire the Castlegar and Grand Forks sawmills and related timber tenures in British Columbia and the Spearfish sawmill assets in South Dakota. Interfor has also completed the sale of the Spearfish sawmill assets to Neiman Enterprises, Inc. of Hulett, Wyoming.
Interfor is one of the Pacific Northwest’s largest producers of quality wood products. The company has operations in British Columbia, Washington, and Oregon. |
