Montreal, Quebec, Canada, 15 January 2008 -– Domtar Corporation (NYSE/TSX: UFS) today announced the following tentative 2008 quarterly earnings release schedule:

Fourth Quarter 2007: 15 February 2008
First Quarter 2008: 06 May 2008
Second Quarter 2008: 08 August 2008
Third Quarter 2008: 05 November 2008

Consistent with past practice, each quarterly earnings release with accompanying financial tables will be issued before markets open, followed by a 10:00 a.m. (Eastern Time) conference call to discuss results. The above-mentioned dates are tentative and will be confirmed approximately two weeks before the official earnings release date.
