Shanghai, China 12 March 2013 -- China's C&S Paper has brought two new 28,000 tonne/yr tissue PMs online at its mill in Jiangmen city, Guangdong province.

The identical units started up in February. Supplied by Toscotec, each of the PMs has a wire width of 3.6 m and a design speed of 1,600 m/min.

The construction of four more PMs is well under way, and they are planned to be fired up this year. This will boost the firm's total tissue capacity to around 520,000 tonnes/yr.

Two machines with a combined capacity of around 59,000 tonnes/yr will kick off production in the second half of 2013 at the firm's site in Chengdu city, Sichuan province.

One will have a trim width of 3.55 m, and a design speed of 1,650 m/min. It will produce tissue at a rate of 32,000 tonnes/yr. The other one will have a trim width of 2.85 m and a design speed of 1,700 m/min.
Its capacity will be around 27,000 tonnes/yr.
