Boise Engineered Wood Products to Become Approved Pulte Homes Supplier

Boise, Idaho, USA, 12 March 2007 -– Boise Engineered Wood Products, a business unit of Boise Cascade, LLC, and Pulte Homes, Inc. (NYSE:PHM) have signed an agreement for Boise to be an approved supplier of engineered wood products and services to Pulte Homes.

The agreement is to supply Pulte Homes with Boise products such as BCI® Joists, AllJoist®, Versa-Lam® laminated veneer lumber, and other Boise engineered wood products. The products will be supplied through Boise's national network of distributors and dealers.

Pulte Homes, based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, is a FORTUNE 150 company with operations in 52 markets and 27 states. In 2006, the company delivered 41,487 homes in the United States and generated consolidated revenues of USD 14.3 billion. Under its Del Webb brand, Pulte Homes is the nation's largest builder of active adult communities for people age 55 years and older. Boise is a world leader in engineered wood products and owns and operates the two largest laminated veneer lumber plants in the world, in Alexandria, Louisiana, and White City, Oregon.
