All clear given following bomb threat at Georgia Pacific facility near Quanah, Texas

HARDEMAN COUNTY, Texas (From news reports) -- Officials have given the all clear regarding the bomb threat Monday (July 29) at the Georgia Pacific facility west of Quanah and Loop 285 has been reopened.

According to TxDOT officials, traffic on Loop 285 near the Georgia Pacific facility is closed and being monitored due to a possible bomb threat.
Officials said the loop would not reopen until the Sheppard Air Force Base bomb squad investigates the area and clears the building.
Traffic on US 285 west of Quanah near the Georgia Pacific Plant is open and Loop 285 from Quanah to the Georgia Pacific Plant would remain closed as emergency crews standby for the bomb squad to investigate.

Yana Ogletree, Georgia-Pacific's Texas PR Director, said that 67 employees were evacuated to a local school.
