Ilim's Mill Sets New Record
Print

St. Petersburg, Russia 05 November 2014 -- On October 31, at about 11 a.m. Ilim's mill in Koryazhma hit one million tons of commercial output, which is yet another European record. It became possible due to the start-up and ramp-up of a major investment project successfully implemented by Ilim Group.

Within a very short period Koryazhma built facilities to produce elite paper products. It took the team only one year to ramp up Russia's most advanced state-of-the-art paper machine, which now produces high-quality cut-size paper of the leading global brands. A year ago the Koryazhma Mill started production of Russia's first coated paper qualified by international experts.

The existing lines kept pace producing market pulp and several grades of linerboard and paper. The Mill sells its products in the domestic market and also to 50 other countries.

Koryazhma Mill Manager Valery Antonishin said: "Such an ambitious result was achieved due to dedicated efforts of our people. Our deepest appreciation and thanks go to all of them."
