Comment Print
Heidenheim, Germany, 19 February 2010 -- Rondo Ganahl AG has commissioned Voith Paper Automation with delivery of a quality control system for PM 2 in Frastanz, Austria. With this investment, Rondo Ganahl pursues the goal of improving the efficiency of the system and paper quality. The existing measurement system is being replaced by a new Voith scanner with moisture, ash, and basis weight measurement and a color sensor.

Actuators for control of the existing dilution water headbox are included in the automation package to attain optimal basis weight CD profiles and control software will help ensure high paper quality can be produced. Moreover, Voith will deliver several MD controls such as multilayer control and jet-wire ratio control and an automatic grade change sytem.

Rondo Ganahl AG has its headquarters in Frastanz, Austria. High-quality test liner grades (white, mottled, brown) are produced at the modern paper mill on the basis of 100% recovered paper.
