Helsinki, Finland 05 December 2013 -- Metso’s Pulp, Paper and Power business, the future Valmet, will supply a complete tissue production line to Tezol Tütün Kagit in Turkey. The new tissue machine will be installed at the company’s new mill site in the city of Mersin. The start-up of the machine is scheduled for 2015.

“The new tissue line will fulfill Tezol’s ambition to produce environmentally friendly products of highest quality in a cost-efficient way,” says Ersin Tezol, CEO of Tezol Tütün ve Kağıt San ve Tic A.Ş.

“The Advantage DCT tissue making concept enables the production of most types of conventional tissue products with the highest quality in a cost-effective way. We are very delighted that Tezol trusted us as the supplier of their new tissue making line, and are looking forward to a long-term partnership which will be of benefit for both companies,” says Björn Magnus, Sales Manager, Paper business line, future Valmet.

The order is included in Metso’s Pulp, Paper and Power segment’s third quarter 2013 orders received. The value of the order will not be disclosed.

Technical information

The delivery will comprise a complete high-speed tissue production line featuring an Advantage DCT 100+ tissue machine equipped with an OptiFlo headbox, a cast iron Yankee cylinder, an Advantage ViscoNip press and an Advantage AirCap Yankee hood.
