The Final Word by Jim Thompson

Sorry, but my comments this month are self-congratulatory. The other day, I had the need to search for corporate and financial data on a couple of large companies. Where did I go? PaperMoney, of course. Just click that search button near the upper-left, put in the company's name, and away you go. To my knowledge, PaperMoney is the largest publication in the pulp and paper industry, electronic or otherwise--the last time I counted the pages in one issue, I found it to be well over three hundred. Our staff, all excellent, do a great job of putting PaperMoney together for you. Thus, I hate to single out just one for commendation, but Myra Magee does a yeoman's job of gathering the data that makes each issue and such searches possible.

So, bookmark PaperMoney's website (www.globalpapermoney.org) as your reference for any data about the pulp and paper industry worldwide.
