The pulp market and recycled fiber markets are both being rocked by the Japanese earthquakes. We are hearing that industrial and individual consumers are fearful of Japanese exports because of potential radiation contamination. This makes for tough market conditions, which will cause further displacement in normal supply chains in the coming months. Stay agile as this ripples through our industry in ways we cannot yet imagine.
