Vantaa, Finland, 26 January 2007 -- Pöyry's Forest Industry business group has been awarded an engineering assignment by Stora Enso in their paper machine rebuild project at the Wisconsin Rapids mill in the USA. The value of the assignment is not disclosed.

Pöyry's assignment comprises detail engineering, project management, commissioning, and start-up planning services for PM12, and shutdown support services for BM13.

Corenso, Stora Enso's subsidiary, will rebuild and restart PM12 for coreboard production at the Wisconsin Rapids mill, allowing the mill to keep up with increased customer needs.
