On 19 March 2010, BlackRock, Inc. (USA Tax ID 32-0174421, SEC CIK Code#: 0001364742) holding in shares of Metso Corporation fell below the 5% threshold. The holding amounted to 7,298,453 shares, which corresponds to 4.85% of the total amount of shares and votes in Metso Corporation, after being, on the basis of their previous announcement, 5.03% on 24 February 2010.
