New York, New York, USA, 11 October 2010 -- /PRNewswire/ -- The McGraw-Hill Companies (NYSE: MHP) announced today that its third quarter 2010 results will be issued via news release before the start of NYSE trading on 26 October 2010, and will be available for downloading from http://www.mcgraw-hill.com.

Harold McGraw III, chairman, president, and chief executive officer, and Robert J. Bahash, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will host a conference call that morning at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time. The presentation will be open to all interested parties and will be available by webcast and by telephone. Discussions may include forward-looking information.
