Honeywell and CFP Flexible Packaging Sign Nylon Films Distribution Agreement

Morris Township, New Jersey, USA, 27 January 2010 -- /PRNewswire/ -- Honeywell (NYSE: HON) announced today that it has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with CFP Flexible Packaging, a leading European packaging company.CFP, which has more than 35 years of experience in the manufacture of bioriented and multilayer cast nylon films, will become the main distributor in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for certain Honeywell nylon films.

CFP will sell cetain films manufactured at Honeywell's plant in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. The simultaneously bi-axially oriented nylon 6 films, also known as BOPA films, provide excellent strength, toughness and clarity, and superior oxygen-barrier characteristics. In addition to food packaging, the films are used in book covers, balloons, and bags and pouches.
