In this issue of Disconnected Comparisons, we evaluate Buckeye Technologies Inc. (BKI) and 3M Company (MMM).

The attached graph indexes these companies’ stock values and the PM40 to their 04 January 2002 values. A USD 100 investment in BKI on that date would have been worth USD 92.93 on 04 January 2008, a USD 100 investment in LPX on 04 January 2002 would have been worth USD 139.64 on 04 January 2008, and a USD 100 investment in an equal weight of the PM40 on 04 January 2002 would have been worth USD 117.60 on 04 January 2008.
