Comment Print
Rives, France, 24 November 2008 -- The Moroccan group, Safripac, chose Allimand to deliver vacuum pumps for the installation of its printing and writing PM 3 at Tangier. Allimand Services determined the vacuum and pump size requirements of the paper machine, and proposed equipment for the new unit equipped with a closed loop of sealing water.

Allimand also assisted Safripac in designing and carrying out the installation. Allimand technicians were present during the machine start-up and trained the machine operators and mechanics on running of the vacuum unit and on equipment maintenance.

The material supplied by Allimand included four water ring vacuum pumps, a split tubing system; a blower with anti-corrosion treated steel separators and outlet silencer; and two auxiliary pumps to transfer water to the cooling tower.

Allimand designs and manufactures paper machines and equipment for the paper industry on an international scale. Its activities range from supplying complete paper machines to upgrading existing lines and paper finishing equipment, and vacuum pumps.

Safripac, an African financial and industrial paper and board producer, was founded in 1976 and specializes in the production and marketing of board an packaging paper and printing and writing paper. Safripac is one of Morocco's leading paper producers.
