What they are telling us on LinkedIn--May 2022

We were sitting around earlier this year and got to talking about the LinkedIn polls feature and decided to jump in. Here are the selected results of some of the polls we have conducted thus far...

Have you ever lied to your boss?

1,380 took a look at this question and 29 decided to chime in...

52% said YES and 48% said NO.

This leaves us with the question, were they being honest when they responded to this poll?

Respondents think a lot of themselves

48% of respondents said they held themselves in highest esteem. We had asked "Who do you hold in highest esteem at work?" 1,451 took a look at this and, again, 29 decided to answer.

38% said "a colleague" 7% said "a subordinate" 7% said "a boss" and again, 48% said "themselves"

When we asked how people react to foul language

54% don't think much of it (Found it offensive--15%; Diminishes the speaker--39%) while 31% "don't notice it" and 16% said it is OK in extreme situations. There were a total of 75 votes and 2,512 folks to a look at the question. Obviously a lot of interest here.

Rounding can make totals be other than 100% in each poll.

Until next time...
