Weyerhaeuser to Shift Distribution Services in California
“The northern California market remains an important region for us,” said Phil Dennett, vice president, iLevel supply chain. “The West Sacramento closure will not impact our commitment to the customers in this region.” As part of this change, the company will be expanding its presence in Stockton, located 45 miles south of Sacramento, by adding warehouse space and outside storage to meet the needs of northern California customers. “We recognize the hard work and dedicated performance of our 15 associates at the West Sacramento facility, and we will support them during this change,” said Dennett. “We are focused on ensuring a smooth transition, and we remain committed to our distribution model and the critical role these teams play in the success of iLevel.” Weyerhaeuser Company, one of the world's largest forest products companies, was incorporated in 1900.
