We live in an age of uncertainty.  CEOs and senior managers are going to be required to manage with far fewer absolutes in the future.  Some will rise to the task, others will go by the wayside.  The most important thing you can do now is learn how others have dealt with uncertain surroundings.  Hoping for the good old days is not going to be the path to future success.
