The Final Word by Jim Thompson

Going boldly forward may be the watchwords for the moment. While many are pulling back, if you have capital projects in the planning stages, this will be an excellent time to move them forward if financing is readily available to you.
Nervous times, when the masses stop orders, pay cancellation fees, and so forth, are times of bargains. If you are in grades for which you can confidently predict long-term growth (our old standbys, packaging and tissue), these are the times to accelerate projects, not back off.
In the end, those who move forward at this time will end up with much lower capital costs than those who wait.
