Quad Wins Three-Year, Multimillion Dollar Deal to Print Reader's Digest

Quad/Graphics Inc. is now the sole printer of the U.S. edition of Reader's Digest after signing a multimillion-dollar contract with the magazine.

The global commercial printing company said that the contract spans the next three years, without disclosing specific financial terms.

Daren Robarge, Quad's executive vice president of manufacturing, said the company managed to move all of the production for Reader's Digest to its Lomira, Wis., facility in about a month.

"The Quad team managed a difficult and complex transition seamlessly," said Mike Garzone, vice president of supply chain for Reader's Digest owner Trusted Media Brands.
