(NYSE: PCL) today announced it completed the third and final phase of its previously announced sale of western Montana forestlands to The Nature Conservancy and The Trust for Public Land. Plum Creek received USD 89 million in cash for approximately 70,000 acres of land. Previous phases of this project closed in 2008 and 2009.
