This month in Nip Impressions we are going to be talking about quality in ways you may have never heard before. This will be a four-part series; the first column being dated "Week of 7 Oct 19" (actually issued on 3 Oct 19).

Starting in April, I have spent the last six months knocking on doors in the industry--mills, printers, converters and suppliers. Over 190 sites, from Green Bay to the Gulf of Mexico--a swath right down through the heart of our industry in the United States. It has been an eye opening journey.

I will be reporting on what I have seen and what I think may be an opportunity for us as an industry. However, nothing will happen if the executives of the industry are not on board.
