Neenah has manufactured 100% cotton business paper for Crane & Co. since 2007. Through its initial partnership agreement with Crane, Neenah manufactured the paper, although Crane continued to market and distribute the paper. The agreement signed on 27 August 2009, was an extension of that partnership and allows Neenah to manufacture, market, and distribute Crane fine business papers.

According to Schertell, the addition of Crane's fine business papers "will bring another meaningful brand with a recognized promise to the Neenah portfolio of premium papers and drive value in the category and the marketplace."
