Guangxi Botare Yuantrove Paper to install 380 t/d lime kiln at its new pulp mill in China

Guangxi Botare Yuantrove Paper will install a new lime kiln plant at its upcoming pulp mill in the Yugui Industrial Park, Guigang City, China, with operations planned to commence in the Q2 2026, according to the technology supplier Andritz.

The facility is critical for the mill's lime recausticizing process. The plant will feature a complete lime kiln system with a daily production capacity of 380 tonnes of burnt lime. The supplied scope includes a LimeDry lime mud filter designed for high dry solids content and washing efficiency, which minimizes total reduced sulfur emissions in the kiln flue gases.

The advanced lime kiln technology is engineered to ensure efficient operation with low heat consumption, directly supporting the pulp production process.

The installation is part of the new greenfield pulp mill project for Guangxi Botare Yuantrove Paper, a pulp and tissue manufacturing company under the Zhihu group.
