Delta Companies Group Signs Contract With Cognis Corporation


Delaware, Ohio, USA, 28 August 2008 – Delta Companies Group, a subsidiary of Greif, Inc. (NYSE: GEF, GEF.B), has contracted to provide on-site packaging services to Cognis Corporation’s chemical complex in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The dedicated packaging facility is currently under construction, and when completed will fill Cognis products into quart and gallon packages, pails, kegs, drums, and totes.

Dano Lister, vice president of Operations for Delta Companies Group, said, “This will be a model site easily capable of handling the breadth of products produced by Cognis and the multiple sizes of packages they require. We have 62 years of experience as a third-party resource for blending, packaging, warehousing and logistics services in our own facilities throughout North America.
