SWEDEN (News release) -- BillerudKorsnäs has appointed Christoph Michalski as new President and CEO. He succeeds Lennart Holm, who has been acting President and CEO since November 2019. Christoph Michalski will assume his new position November 1, 2020.

Christoph Michalski is since 2015 the CEO and Executive Director of Vinda International Holding Ltd. Before that, he has held various senior executive positions within the SCA group and he also has experience from the FMCG sector working for Unilever and Fonterra.

Lennart Holm, acting President and CEO of BillerudKorsnäs, leaves his position when Christoph Michalski assumes his new role, but will remain with the company as an advisor until the end of 2020.

BillerudKorsnäs is one of the leading manufacturers of packaging paper made from virgin fibers.
