Arctic Paper creates new strategic group R&D function
SWEDEN (News release) -- Arctic Paper has decided to create a new cohesive R&D function at the Swedish mill in Munkedal. Daniel Klang has been appointed as Group R&D manager.
Daniel Klang most recently came from the position as production manager at Rexcell Tissue & Airlaid in Skåpafors and has previous experience from roles as sales and marketing manager at Ahlstrom-Munksjö in Billingsfors. "A well-functioning and efficient R&D work in close collaboration with customers is one of our strengths and is of crucial importance for Arctic Paper's future when we move our position forward in packaging. We welcome Daniel Klang as head of our new R&D function. His broad experience comes in handy when we now gather our resources to increase the pace of innovation," says Michal Jarczyński, CEO, Arctic Paper S.A. Arctic Paper's offering in paper is now supplemented with new products in sustainable packaging solutions, a growing area that is important to the Group. Arctic Paper's Group R&D manager will report directly to the CEO. Arctic Paper S.A. is one of the leading producers of high-quality graphical fine paper in Europe and consists of three paper mills.
