Andlinger & Co. Takes over Eska Graphic Board
Sappemeer, The Netherlands 06 November 2013 -- Private equity company Andlinger & Company has fully acquired Eska Graphic Board B.V. from H2 Equity Partners, Eska reports. The purchase price was not disclosed and the transaction is expected to be completed soon.

Eska is a manufacturer of 100% recycled board which is also used in luxury packaging, displays, book covers, jigsaws and games. In 2012, the company generated sales of around €141m, 95% of which through exports. The company has two production sites in the Netherlands, located in Hoogezand and Sappemeer, with a combined capacity of 250,000 tpy of graphic board. The production facilities include three board and two paper machines and have a workforce of around 350 people; the company employs another 100 people in its sales and service centres. Eska serves its customers worldwide through a distribution network spanning Germany, Italy, Spain, the UK, the US and Singapore.
Eska Graphic Board, which was created in 1994 after the merger between Cartonfabriek Beukema and Kappa Karton, was taken over by H2 Equity Partners in 2006 and has since developed into a leading and profitable player in its niche market, it is reported. Andlinger is committed to helping the company continue its international growth strategy. The current management will stay on after the takeover which has already been approved by the works council.
