Just a few years ago, the financial markets were in a bit of a worry—what will happen when Fed Chairman Greenspan retires?

Well, the day has come. I am not going to pretend to outguess Ben Bernanke and his leadership at the Fed. What we can see and miss, however, is the eloquent words that always composed Chairman Greenspan’s comments.

It could be the problem is in our interpretation—-by the latter years of Greenspan’s tenure, books had been written on his nuances. For the time being however, we are flying blind on the statements we get from the Fed. Expect more turbulence before the words are sorted out.
