The PM40 has two new members. Boise (BZ) replaces Chesapeake Corporation (CSKE), which has filed for bankruptcy. Mercer (MERC) replaces Masisa S.A. (MYSZY), which has been removed due to low activity.

The PM40 closed 09 January 2009 at 748.10, up 62.58 from the 26 December 2008 close.
