Norske Skog Completes Sale of Shanghai Newsprint Mill Oxenoen, Sweden, 18 November 2009 -- Norske Skog has announced completion of the sale of the 56% stake in the newsprint mill Shanghai Norske Skog Potential Paper (SNP). On 13 July 2009, Norske Skog announced that an agreement had been made under which Potential Industries took over all of Norske Skog's shares in SNP. The transaction was contingent upon approval from Chinese authorities. Such approval is given and the transaction is now finally completed.   Norske Skog is a world leading producer of newsprint and magazine paper, with 16 paper mills around the world.
