Catalyst Launches New Packaging Product Line

Richmond, British Columbia, Canada 14 February 2017 -- Catalyst Paper has successfully launched a complete line of new lightweight flexible food packaging papers, branded LEAP, from their FDA-compliant Biron mill in Wisconsin.

The LEAP family brands are uncoated and coated one side flexible packaging papers designed for food applications such as flat or pinch bottom bags, sugar packets, poly and adhesive laminated products and ice cream treats.

Available in 15 to 50 pound basis weights, LEAP brands are FDA compliant, have excellent print fidelity and abundant strength for converting processes, and are sustainably produced with available chain-of-custody certification under Forest Stewardship Council, Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification and Sustainable Forestry Initiative standards. Catalyst is a member of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition.
