St. Petersburg, Russia 22 March 2013 -- The Bratsk Mill of Ilim Group (Irkutsk Oblast) completed installation of a new advanced system for NCG collection and incineration as part of the Big Bratsk investment project.

The equipment will significantly improve the air odor, and people in Bratsk will soon be able to appreciate it.

The next stage aimed to reduce the environmental footprint is the start up of a new fiberline under the Big Bratsk project followed by gradual shutdown of the obsolete softwood production line. All these efforts will significantly mitigate NCG impact in the city.
